Job Description
To determine the best sources of supplies for the bank.
Track the supply usage for the bank, analysing trends of use throughout the bank. Research vendors that provide quality supplies at a fair price. Negotiating contracts, establishing quality standards for purchasing, and organizing the ordering and delivery of supplies. Create strategies for long-term supply purchases that best suit the bank.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum qualifications
Type of Qualification: Bachelor’s degree
Field of Study: Purchasing and supply Chain Management
Experience and Competency required:
Two (2) years previous experience as procurement officer or related position
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Ability to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions.
Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
Goal-oriented, organized team player
