Position Summary

The DEC will implement data entry into facility based electronic systems and data collecting tools. S/He will be working in close liaison with the District Health Information Office and the District TB/HIV Integrated officer. The position is responsible for improving the quality of data generated by the facility. The DEC will ensure SIEO duties at district level are done with implementation fidelity.

Key Responsibilities

The DEC is expected to fulfil the following Key Performance Indicators; Data entry and facility level SIE duties; Support and implement SIE systems and activities at facility levels Strategic Information and Evaluation systems implementation; Program reporting, monitoring and evaluation; Support the DSIEO in the Dreams data management systems at district level; Knowledge Management, Learning and Adaptation.

Person Specification

A quantitative diploma/ degree in mathematics, statistics, public health, or social sciences is desirable, Minimum of 1year experience in a similar position, Experience working with multiple stakeholders and familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements will be an added advantage; Proficiency in desktop software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) a requisite; Demonstrate working knowledge of quantitative data collection systems in the MoHCC, including familiarity with processes of strengthening district level M&E capacity, and data analysis using Advanced Excel, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info, EpiData, or any other data analysis software; Experience working with multiple stakeholders and familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements will be an added advantage.
