QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Risk Management/ Business Management/
- 5 ‘O’ levels (including Mathematics and English).
- At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG industry
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- An understanding of Human Resource management concepts.
- An understanding of various statutes governing the operations of a retail supermarket
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Constantly liaises with all departments and ensure that losses through expiries, shop lifting, and theft by staff, breakages and production shrinkage are maintained within the targeted levels.
- Investigates and monitors cases of shrinkage and provide recommendations to management to avoid the recurrence of losses to the business.
- Ensures the effective implementation of all approved controls and SOPs aimed at minimizing shrinkage.
- Ensures all controls are adhered to during the movement of stock, from receiving, warehousing, merchandising and transfers to other departments and other stores.
- Oversees the stock take processes, ensuring that the stock counts are done at scheduled dates.
- Work closes with all Supervisors to manage expiries and breakages, ensuring stock integrity is maintained at all times.
- Conduct regular reviews of the store processes and systems, and advice on appropriate risk management mitigation measures to the store management.
- Monitor the effective implementation of processes to avoid cases of criminal offences.
- Ensure the implementation of measures to protect the buildings and grounds from physical damage, including their contents, occupants and customers.
- Ensure that security related incidents are managed in such a manner that property damage or injury to persons is presented or at least mitigated through competent and timeous action.
- Conduct regular patrols in and around the building to check on security of the store and its contents.
