Applications are invited for the above posts:

Asset Protection Assistants (40 Posts) – Asset Protection Services Department

DUTIES

Ensure the safety and security of students, staff, visitors and University property.
Provide access control services by monitoring entry and exit gates as well as searching of vehicles and persons
Carryout patrol duties, inspecting buildings and properties to ensure they are properly secured
Attend scenes of crime, carry out preliminary enquiries and compile reports
Testify and present evidence in local disciplinary proceedings as well as in criminal courts of law
Liasing with various institutions such as Zimbabwe Republic Police and Fire Brigade on matters of safety and security that affect the universitu
Carryout inspection of goods received by varioua University Departments to ensure they conform to procured quantities and quality
Book in and out all University Vehicles and recording mileage.
Doing public order and crowd control duties
Protecting University projects and business Unit outside campus
Any other duties as assigned by the Asset Protection Services Director through lieutenants

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should fulfill the following requirements;

A minimum of 5 ‘O’ level passes at Grade C or better including English Language
Willing to undergo security training
Must be punctual and hardworking
Must have a clean criminal record
