Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation is a major player in the Zimbabwean Mining Industry and a key contributor to the growth of the Zimbabwean economy through mining and mining development. The Corporation has the following exciting new FIXED TERM CONTRACT opportunities that have arisen in our Business Development Department.
ELECTRICAL ARTISAN – (3 Months Fixed Term Contract)
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following;
Duties and Responsibilities
Assessing and reporting on current electrical installations.
Planning and Design of Electrical Works and Installations.
Conducting Electrical Installation at ZMDC Projects.
Repair of Electrical equipment and installations at ZMDC Projects.
Monitoring and Control of EPC Contractor Electrical Works.
Ensuring protection of personnel and plant equipment from electrical hazards.
Any other related duties may be assigned from time to time.
Person Specifications
National Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering
Artisan Class 1 Electrician
Apprenticeship Trained
5 years post-apprenticeship experience
Mining Industry experience is an added advantage.
