We are looking to hire a skilled technical support officer to provide support nad facilitate the resolution of technical issues for our customers. The incumbent will be required to respond to report tickets and assist clients remotely or on-site. This may include installing software systems, diagnosing networking issues, installing upgrades, and resolving system technical issues.
Responsibilities:
• Attend meetings with clients to analyse, troubleshoot and diagnose system problems.
• Update, maintain and monitor all aspects of supported systems.
• Install and configure computer systems and applications.
• Respond to customer queries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
• Assist in creating training materials pertaining to supported systems.
• Be the first point of contact for system related concerns from clients.
• Organise and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for systems.
• Respond to technical support tickets.
• Providie basic training on supported systems.
• Maintain good client relations.
• Complete job reports and periodic reports to management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 3 years’ experience in supporting financial applications.
• Practical experience with Python and Microsoft SQL server
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of operating systems, web services, financial systems and API.
• Knowledge of remote access systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
