The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority seeks Innovative, vibrant attaché
to join the Veterinary team on a year programs.
Responsibilities
- Assist to treat or perform surgical procedures to all reported or identified sick or
injured wild animals/dogs/horses. - Assist on prevention of predictable diseases outbreaks using best veterinary methods and resources available
- Assist in the wild animal’s capture exercises
- Assist in diseases surveillance of wild animals /domestic animals in collaboration
with DVS. - Assist in relevant research work in wildlife health, captive breeding, production and
veterinary issues. - Assist in arranging and packing equipment and tools of trade during and after
exercises carried by the unit. - Shall do other services which may be assigned to him by the unit staff members
Qualifications & Attributes
The candidates should have:-
- 3 A’ levels passes
- Studying towards a Degree in Veterinary and Wildlife Management,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Excellent problem-solving skills,
- Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure,
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
