Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ)

The Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ) is a Statutory Body established in terms of Section 29 of the Health Professions Act (Chapter 27:19). Its mandate is to assist in the promotion of the health of the population of Zimbabwe and to regulate, control and supervise the practice of the medical and dental profession.

The following vacancy has arisen within the Council and suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the post of:

DRIVER/MESSENGER  

Reporting to the Administrative Officer of the MDPCZ. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Delivery of mail within stipulated time.
  • Maintaining a record book for all mail delivered
  • Routine check-ups of the Council vehicle.
  • Maintain detailed records of fuel usage, mileage, and servicing.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Administrative Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 ‘O’ level subjects or better (including English Language).
  • A ‘level will be an added advantage
  • Clean Class 3 and 4 Drivers Licences
  • 5 years experience as a Driver for a reputable company
  • Defensive driving certificate

Attributes and Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
