Roles and Responsibilities
- Writing, developing, editing and publishing digital content and copy for a variety of NUST digital platforms, including the website, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising and fundraising campaigns, social media posts, infrographics, etc.
- Developing creative, engaging and effective digital content that reflects NUST vision, mission, core values and strategic direction.
- Regularly uploading content on the NUST website, University social media platform including face book, twitter, LinkedIn.
- Facilitating University engagement with stakeholders through giving timely feedback to inquires on University social media platforms and email in consultation with relevant departments.
- Supporting different departments in running their marketing campaigns, events and other activities.
- Monitoring trends and patterns of visits and use of the NUST website and social media platforms and devising strategies for improving University presence.
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of media production and communication.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Graphic designing skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of current audio and video production software, standards, practices and terminology.
- Knowledge of website updating.
- Initiative, flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude when working under pressure.
- Strong time management abilities.
- To be through and pay attention to detail.
- A creative thinker with a track record of producing content in a similar role with exceptional outcomes.
Qualifications
- A degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.
- Two years’ experience in digital content production, audio/video production, graphic design or similar
