Job Description
Technological & Commercial Information Promotion System (TIPS), an information hub for training and capacity building, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions:
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Providing in-depth analysis of economic and financial impacts of policy proposals.
· Validating key assumptions, inputs and methodologies of various economic models.
· Producing reports, policy briefs, journals and publications for various users.
· Presenting reports and findings to Management and other key stakeholders.
· Developing statistical and econometric models for economic forecasting.
· Advising businesses and Government on economic decisions.
· Analyzing and interpreting various industry data trends, outlooks and forecasts.
· Carrying out any other related duties that Management may assign from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
· A degree in Economics.
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
· Proficiency in statistical programs such as SPSS, STATA.
