REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants should be holders of a National Diploma in Applied Biological Technology and have 3years post-qualification experience or holders of a Degree in Applied Biology and Biochemistry and have at one-year industrial work experience.
- Supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
- The candidate will be expected to supervise laboratory and workshop activities, prepare equipment or chemicals for practicals and research work, supervise and train Technical Assistants, calibrate and
standardize equipment or apparatus, manage inventory of consumables and advising on re-order levels and procuring chemicals and equipment for the department. - For appointment to the Senior Technician grade, applicants must have a Degree in Applied Biology and Biochemistry and at least three years’ post-qualification experience.
