Information Technology related undergraduate bachelor degree
At least 1 year experience supporting pastel evolution
POSITION SUMMARY
Pastel Support technicians assist computer users with the operation of Pastel system
Duties and Responsibilities
- Training Clients Sage Evolution accounting system
- Install database (SQL) and sage Evolution on servers and workstations
- New database setup and imports (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory etc)
- Execute queries in the database eg delete, update, select statements etc
- Verify that the system is usable.
- Data capturing and offer support services to the client
- Troubleshoot program errors
- Assist with go live, hand holding support
- Perform system upgrades and installations
- Assist with ad-hoc client requests
- Assist with Opening Balances (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Stock)
- Configuration and testing of data to comply with the project scope
- Perform according to the requirement specifics and that the business flow is complete and whole
- Update with progress reports weekly to the superior.
