Job Description
Whitecross Pharmacy is a leading pharmacy committed to providing quality healthcare services to our customers.
We are seeking a Dispensary Assistant with at least 1 year of working experience and at least 1 reference to join our Borrowdale team. The Dispensary Assistant will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications and ensuring that all medications are accurately dispensed and labelled.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications.
- Ensure that all medications are accurately dispensed and labelled.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and stock levels.
- Handle cash and credit card payments and process them accurately.
- Order and receive stock and ensure that it is stored correctly.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in dispensary assistance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in dispensary assistance.
- At least 1 year of working experience.
- At least 1 reference.
- Good knowledge of prescription medications and dispensing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
