About the role
The role works within the International Department Programmes family and the wider programme funding and development remit.
The role is key is providing technical support to the Christian Aid Zimbabwe partners and programme through ICSP funding, and other funding sources to ensure that partner organisations, faith institutions, government departments and other civil society organisations respond to the issues of accountability, social cohesion and inequalities particularly gender based violence.
A key delivery area for this role is to ensure the ICSP project is delivered timely, with the acceptable quality, document evidence of change brought about by intervening in this thematic area.
The role will also support implementation of Christian Aid in Zimbabwe’s Gender Justice and Climate Change & Resilience strategic focus areas encompassing both programme and institutional work.
The role will also engage with and promote communications fundraising from institutional donors and representing Christian Aid in relevant forums.
About you
You have experience in project design and project implementation management, working with a diverse portfolio of partners in consortiums.
You have 5 years working with institutional donor funding, reporting, proposal development and strategy management.
Your expertise on programme management includes Gender and Social Inclusion, Gender Analysis frameworks and feminist principles and have some experience working with faith groups.
You are competent in the use of various data collection, monitoring, evaluation and learning tools and analysis methodologies.
You are able to conduct partner assessments, capacity building and developing partnerships.
You have a sound knowledge of safeguarding & accountability, advocacy, campaigning and lobbying are able to build networks.
You will have a degree in Social Sciences or related field.
