Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel is looking for a talented and experienced Domestic Sales Manager to join their team.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

• Responsible for maintaining domestic agents fostering relationships with new agents and creating new business opportunities to support the MORE accommodation revenue budget.
• Building and maintaining relationships with Key Account local agents based in Zimbabwe/Zambia/Botswana
• Domestic operators’ strategy – develop a strategy per Key Account to maintain and acquire new business.
• Communication email, phone calls, and face 2 face calls to keep top of mind with each client. Keep up to date with markets/movements/changes/challenges/opportunities and communicate back to the sales team.
• Corporate clients – identify local corporate accounts that can use Stanley and Livingstone for their corporate travel and those that could use our other properties for getaways and incentives. Build a relationship with these accounts and acquire this segment of business.
• Connect and build relationships with other sales managers – gather market intel from them and give feedback to sales team.
• Product updates, queries, opportunities, building relationships and Product Training.
• Setting up of site inspections for local agents and hosting. Follow-up of site inspection resulting in increased revenue.
• Sales trip (Harare, Bulawayo, Zambia, Botswana). Preparation of these trips, flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire and appointments.
• Attending various meetings, sales connect, post trip feedback and other relevant meetings. For these meetings preparing feedback and actions.

• Conducting initial consultations with clients to discuss the wedding packages available, the type of wedding desired, and their wedding budget.
• Conferring with clients to discuss wedding details, including venue options as well as entertainment, catering, and decoration preferences.
• Negotiating contracts with selected vendors and making payments as required.
• Work with photographer to create interesting shots and videos for social media.
• Work with support office to create engaging text, image, and video content.
• Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
• Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to enquiries.
• Assist with developing an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers using promotions and competitions.

REQUIREMENTS – QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• A bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or any equivalent professional qualification.
• Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar post.
• Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite, Opera and PANstrat.
• Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must work accurately under pressure.
• People skills- tolerance, patience, and care.
• Strong negotiations and presentation skills.
