Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company a World Class Diamond Producer for the long-term benefit of Zimbabwe seeks applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following positions that have arisen in the business:
Reporting to the Security Services Manager, the job is based at the Mine and responsible for the following:
DUTIES
Overseeing, coordinating, and analyzing all security operations work.
Supervising and monitoring the work and conduct of security operations and surveillance teams.
Implementing employee performance management processes to ensure optimum employee performance.
Monitoring departmental system performance with the view to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and making recommendations on the same.
Developing and implementing effective training and mentoring programs for Security Services personnel.
Identifying and assessing potential risks within the mine and implementing measures to reduce losses.
Conducting security awareness campaigns by engaging employees at all levels.
Generating periodic security updates and reports.
Ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards, policies, procedures, and practices to achieve the company/objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Risk and Security Management or equivalent.
At least 7 years experience in Pohce/Military as a commissioned officer or recognized
Private security organization working at the managerial level.
Experience in the mining industry will be an added advantage.
Competency in Microsoft Office packages and computer literate.
Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
