Main duties of the job
Working in the NHS is not all about making other people richer or doing meaningless, boring and unrewarding jobs – it’s real work with real people. It takes flexibility, commitment and compassion, but in return we can offer you a rewarding career where you can really make a difference. Urgent and Emergency Care is a busy fast paced environment where no two days are the same. It is a challenging place to work but also a hugely rewarding one.
With strong team working skills, you will be able to demonstrate the values that are important to us, communicating well with both colleagues and patients. We are open to your ideas for how to improve the services we offer; without compromising on quality and always treating patients and team-mates with respect and dignity.

But it doesn’t stop there – if you want to progress in your career we can even offer you the opportunity to specialise with specialist skills or take our fantastic apprenticeship to become a nurse. No university fees, no student debts – you can earn whilst you learn! What are you waiting for?
