Job summary
Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) previously known as Ambulatory Emergency Care, is a hub of activity we provide the key to safe effective patient treatment and flow. We manage medical emergency patients that are able to receive treatment and go home. We have varied pathways covering a wide variety of Medical Conditions. Our aim is to provide seamless, high quality care for patients using our service.
We are seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our effective and welcoming team. Your duties will include initial physiological assessment of patients to provide baseline observations and we will support you to develop your phlebotomy and vene-cannulation skills, carry out ECG taking, fluid measurements and catheterisation once training is completed. You will also be part of the team with regards to ensuring surveys are completed by patients/relatives at the end of their care.
