The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) is an Independent Electoral Management Body established in terms of Section 238 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe. One of its functions is to manage and conduct elections to the offices of President, Parliament and Local Authorities, and Referendums, and all related electoral processes in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe and international best practice.
The Commission wishes to recruit professionals of high integrity with good communication and decision-making skills, and sound knowledge of electoral democracy to fill vacancies that have arisen in the institution.

REPORTS TO : Senior Human Resources
STATION : Head Office
GRADE : 8
Summary of Responsibilities
Facilitating recruitment and selection of electoral staff;
Monitoring staff performance and attendance to duty;
Compiling electoral activity Human Resources plans;
Coordinating training of electoral staff;
Maintaining updated personnel records;
Guiding staff on human resources management procedures;
Facilitating Grievance and Disciplinary handling processes;
Any other electoral duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications/Job Specifications
A minimum of a Human Resources Management Degree or other relevant and equivalent qualification;
A relevant professional qualification from a professional institute in an added advantage;
At least 2 years’ post-graduation work experience;
Ability to work under pressure, motivate staff and foster team spirit.
Possession of a Clean Class 4 driver’s license a must added advantage
