Summary of Duties:
- Preparation of complete and detailed drawings for comprehensive modifications and new projects involving structural, mechanical, civil, and other systems in 2D and 3D using advanced computer-aided drafting techniques
- Production of all fabrication and maintenance drawings upon request to the relevant standards and procedures
- Preparing floor, site, and other architectural plans using CAD drafting techniques.
- Effective management of drawing office archives, design issues, and queries.
- Timeous generation of bill of materials.
- Ensuring precise construction and installation of plants and machinery as per specifications and drawing details
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Draughting and Design Technology), Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering is an added advantage.
- Project Management Qualification is an added advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in a mining environment or related industry producing models, drawings and blueprints using 2D and 3D design software for projects and maintenance works.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and attention to detail with effective team-related skills.
- Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems
