Tearfund UK in Zimbabwe is looking for an experienced Finance Manager. The Finance Manager (FM) is responsible for providing financial management services to the various Tearfund teams based in Zimbabwe drawing support from Zimbabwe Team and International Finance. The responsibilities will include; compiling and maintaining financial records to provide timely and accurate financial information to enable the effective management of the Zimbabwe office.
Tearfund is a UK based, Christian INGO working in 50 countries around the world, to lift people out of poverty, using local partners and churches wherever possible.
Do you have experience of:
Financial management
Document review & verification
Bank & cash management
Payroll management
Compliance with donor rules/regulations and statutory obligation
Internal control system
Audit management

Please note: This is a fixed term contract of 3 Years based in Harare, Zimbabwe, with a possibility of renewal. Applicants must possess the right to live and work in Zimbabwe.
All applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs.
The successful candidate will be offered a Gross Salary of $42,432 USD Per Annum.
The recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding issues. In addition, personal identification information will be submitted against a Watchlist database to check against criminal convictions as a counter-terror measure.
