Hope Homecare

Hope Homecare Services Limited is a Domiciliary Homecare agency based in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. We cover Hertfordshire, Essex and Enfield. We provide care and support to the elderly, disabled, people with complex needs, learning difficulties, children and anyone else who may need our care and support.

The main duties and responsibilities of the job:

To monitor and supervise the care workers:

  • To provide leadership to the care staff within Hope Homecare Services Ltd
  • To carry out spot checks of care staff
  • To carry out medication competencies of care staff
  • To carry out moving and handling competencies of care staff
  • To complete care assessments
  • To complete care reviews
  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
  • To supervise the care services within Hope Homecare Services Ltd in accordance with agreed standards
  • To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date
  • Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service and supervise staff
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
  • Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Hope Homecare Services Ltd
  • Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management

Skills, qualifications and experience required UK based workers:

  • Preferred previous experience in a similar role supervising a team.
  • A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent personal presentation standards
  • Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, this is a full-time position and shifts will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
  • Driving licence preferred but not essential
  • Fluent in English (Speaking, listening, writing and reading)
  • Health and social care NVQ 3
  • Experience in care required

  • Nursing qualification
  • IELTS – B1 Level (Speaking, listening, writing and reading)
  • Driving licence preferred but not essential.

Salary: £20,592 per annum

Experience:

  • providing care: 1 year (preferred)
  • supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
