Chipinge Town Council
Reports to the Town Planner;
KEY DUTIES
- Undertaking surveys in town
- Resolving boundary disputes
- Executes Field data capturing of the Town utilities and infrastructure
- Executes Secondary data capturing of the Town utilities and Infrastructure
- Liaison with the Department of the Surveyor General, and other relevant stakeholders for acquisition of GIS Data
- Conducts data cleaning and validation of GIS data sets
- Produces maps when required
- Ensures data integrity as directed by the Town Planner
- Implements performance management
- To carry out any other duty in line with organisational goals as assigned by the Town Planner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 ‘O’ Levels including Maths, English and Science
- At least National Diploma in Land Surveying or acceptable equivalent from a recognised institution of Higher Learning.
- A relevant degree qualification is an added advantage
- Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ experience working in land survey
- Class 4 Driver’s Licence
- A clean criminal record and service in the Local Government fraternity
- At least 28 years of age
- A citizen of Zimbabwe
