Chipinge Town Council

Reporting to the Fire Officer;

Key duties:

  • To attend to fire and rescue operations
  • Attend to road and other accidents
  • To carry out civic awareness protection campaign
  • To ensure efficient functioning and readiness of firefighting equipment
  • To attend to emergency calls urgently
  • To service and maintain fire hydrants
  • To carry out any other duties in line with organisational goals as assigned by the Fire Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 ‘O’ levels including English
  • Firefighting certificate an added advantage
  • Class 2 Driver’s licence
  • At least 1 year experience
  • Age 18-35 years
