We are looking for someone with excellent strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards of care to provide high quality, compassionate care for our patients and their families and ensure that efficient service delivery is maintained.

Main duties of the job
To work closely with the nursing team delivering fundamental care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting needs, feeding and mobility.

Job responsibilities
Ward D7 has 28 beds looking after both male and female patients. We are a fast-paced ward that offers a wide variety of challenges and learning opportunities. The successful applicant will be well supported within this dynamic team.
It will be your job to assist the registered nurses in creating a plan of care and then delivering it to the highest standard; a large part of your job will include up close and personal care with our patients.
The patients on this ward can be acutely unwell and may require all levels of personal care; We care for patients who can often become confused or show some challenging behaviours at times.
You will learn the skill set to allow you to work independently and competently to deliver the care required by our team. This Job will require you to work a mix of shifts including weekends and nights.
