REPORTS TO: PROCUREMENT MANAGER
LOCATION: HARARE
Job Purpose:
The position exists to manage the procurement of goods and services for ZGC.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in production procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in the production of the annual procurement plan.
Ensure procurement of goods and services for the Commission as per the procurement regulations.
Assist the manager in the planning of procurement activities for the Zimbabwe Gender Commission.
Prepare bidding documents in compliance with the prevailing procurement laws.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure they meet required standards.
Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions and maintaining supplier relationships.
Compile minutes for the evaluation committee to ensure compliance with the set procedures and regulations.
Supervise the preparation of procurement database of all procurements within Zimbabwe Gender Commission in line with requirements of the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ).
Prepare relevant quarterly, bi-annual and annual procurement reports.
Prepare periodic procurement reports on behalf of Zimbabwe Gender Commission to PRAZ.
Inquire quotations from at least three different suppliers to establish the availability of quantities and cost of required goods to ensure the provision of quality goods and service at a reasonable value.
Maintain accurate and complete records for all procurement at the Commission.
Provide secretarial services to procurement and evaluation tender adjudication.
Prepare all tender documents and facilitate the tendering process.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Degree in Purchasing and supply or equivalent.
● 3 years relevant work experience
