Reporting to the Medical Officer, the successful candidate will be involved in the treatment of Pensioners and Staff members and other activities in the OSH division.
Key Outputs
- Assess physical, social, and emotional well-being of clients, diagnose and treat.
- Carry out basic vital observation checks on all clients
- Provide a clean and conducive clinic environment
- Develop treatment plan in conjunction with the opinion of other professionals working with the client and ensure drug adherence.
- Liaise with treating specialist on condition of client and give necessary support.
- Provide health activities, healthcare education and wellness programmes.
- Storage and dispensing of drugs and maintaining records.
- Carry out doctor’s orders.
- Autoclaving dressing equipment.
- Facilitate specimen collection and other investigations.
- Manage medical records.
- Participate in budget formulation.
- Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly reports or as per Supervisor’s request.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing
- Diploma in Counselling,/Psychology/Knowledge of OSH and possession of OSHEMAC Certificate is an added advantage
- Valid Practising Certificate
- Clean class 4 Driver’s licence.
- 2-3 years relevant experience
