THE POSITION

This is a senior position, and the incumbent reports to the WAPCOS Team Leader based at the project site. The expert in their various field will be responsible for site supervision and offering technical advice to the ZPC project management team during project execution. The standard expectation is that the expert should have a first degree in the field of specialisation, at least 10 years post-graduation experience, willingness to travel, and tolerance of multi-cultural work environments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A first Degree in the relevant field of specialisation
  • A Post Graduate qualification is an added advantage
  • Full membership of a recognized professional Institution.
  • 10 years of post-graduation experience
  • Formal project management certification, for example, PRINCE 2.

  • Plant condition analysis
  • Repowering and Life extension work specification
  • Complex bid evaluation and adjudication
  • Repowering and Life extension standards
  • Construction supervision
  • Review of engineering designs and drawings
  • Quality control
  • Supervision of testing and commissioning
